I don't know if they'd keep it past BfA either, depending on what kind of diplomacy happens during that. For example, Silvermoon would be a perfect 1/4th foothold for the Horde in EK, whereas they could give Alliance any number of places in Kalimdor. I think they'd likely leave one massive foothold on each continent for each faction, and probably turn it into a wpvp zone of some kind.

Also I don't necessarily think they would make it belong entirely to Horde or Alliance. Well keep in mind this (assuming it would happen) would only change for 120+ characters.
